FAQ's

RGS Nationwide offers an enrollment based Roofing, Gutters, and Siding replacement program whereby property owners receive a credit of 2x their enrollment fee toward the replacement.

What if I only want to enroll for a roof replacement?

You can choose the roof only, at a minimum. You can also include the gutters and/or siding. Remember, the more you include, the greater the savings.

What is involved when you do a roof replacement?
We do a complete and thorough replacement. We remove all the old shingles and materials down to the decking so we can do a thorough inspection. We are acutely aware of building codes and always follow them. We replace and damaged decking, fascia, or other items before we put it back together. We apply ice and water barrier if required. The owner can also choose this if it is not required by code. We then apply all new underlayment. All penetrations through the decking are sealed with and caulked to provide a ‘Drip-Free’ roof for years to come.

If, during the work, we encounter unexpected elements which must be addressed for code or our workmanship warranty reasons, the credit is not applicable toward these additional items not part of the original ‘Scope of Work’

If the property is in an area where the weather can bring damaging hail, we suggest upgrading to an Impact Resistant shingle for longer life and durability.

How is the enrollment fee determined?

Basic Enrollment: We ask for some basic information and then you choose your Basic enrollment fee from four options. Your benefit is double your enrollment fee and is applied as a credit toward the final invoice. Your benefits apply to a maximum of 10% of the final invoice amount. Any benefit amount over the 10% is applied to the invoice without the double benefit. It’s still better to choose a higher enrollment fee to maximize your benefits

Premium Enrollment: Your Premium enrollment fee is determined by the ‘Scope of Work’ you would like covered by your enrollment benefits.  We consult with your onsite to determine what items you want covered by the enrollment.  This is the ‘Scope of Work’.  We use satellite technology along with an onsite inspection and consultation to measure all aspects of all the ‘Scope of Work.'  From this, we calculate an accurate estimate.  Once we have the estimate, the enrollment fee is 7.5% of the estimate.  The benefit of enrollment is double the enrollment fee applied as a credit toward the final invoice of the completed scope of work. There is a $249 pre-enrollment fee which can be paid on the website along with scheduling the onsite consultation.

Do you do insurance work?
Yes. We have years of experience working with insurance companies and handling claims from start to finish. Your enrollment fee credit will be applied toward your final invoice. The credit is always handled separately from your deductible.

Do you mark up the work to give the discount?
Absolutely not. It’s a lot of work to maintain the pricing data for all the markets we work in so we use a third-party company called Xactware for our pricing. It’s the same company most insurance companies use for their claim estimating. It’s a transparent way to reassure you of fair pricing.

How are you able to give such a large discount?
We are using technology as our salesman, instead of a high-pressure/high-commission person. We want you to make an informed decision and are confident we offer a service like no other company; fair, transparent, and honest.  We only want to sell you what you want and need.

Can I use the credit for multiple projects.
You can use the credit once during your enrollment. You receive the full credit based on the original estimate. If not all the Scope of Work is completed, double benefits will be applied to the credit up to 10% of the final invoice.  Any benefit amount over the 10% is applied to the invoice without the double benefit. Once the credit is used the enrollment ends. Only one enrollment per property is allowed at a time.

Is the enrollment transferable?
Only a Premium enrollment is transferable. If you sell the house prior to the end of the enrollment, the new owner has the option to enjoy the remaining time of the enrollment or the Scope can be updated and the initial enrollment fee is applied as a credit. This requires a ‘Catch up’ Service Fee.

Are there any other costs?
There is the original pre-enrollment fee, any Catch Up fees, or a transfer fee of $249 per incident.

Depending on the project, there may be ‘Out of Scope’ items which are necessary to complete the specific project which will be included in the Final Invoice.  For example, city license, permits, dump fees, equipment rental, porta-potty, etc.  These items do not benefit from the ‘Be Prepared’ credit since there are only charged at the rate we pay for the services.  We will provide the receipt if necessary.

How can I save more money?
We offer a referral fee of 10% of the enrollment fee paid. You have the option to receive the referral fee or elect for us to make a donation in your name to a non-profit organization. It is usually paid within 30 days of their completed enrollment. There is no cap to this amount or the number of referrals you are allowed to be compensated for. Once you enroll, you will receive an enrollment packet with more details about the program along with a packet of referral post cards for you to hand out or mail to anyone interested in the program. There will be a space for your referral code. Please make sure your code is correct. Contact us if you need the code at any time. We are not responsible for referrals that don’t include the correct referral code. We will note a referral if you send in referral information prior to your referral enrolling in the program.
